Becko Books is a premier subscription box service that curates children's books in Spanish and delivers them to your door on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.
Our mascot Becko -the billingual gecko- is a blue little gecko who is curious about the world and speaks both English and Spanish. Learn more about Becko by reading Becko Adventures in our Blog.
It's easy. Sign Up by selecting either the Month-to-Month, 6 Month Prepay or 12 Month Prepay service. Then select the Becko Lounge you'd like based on the age of the child. Answer the survey prior to checkout to provide more information about your child, so we can optimize the reading level appropriate for your child. We will ship your box on the 15th of the month.
Your Becko Box will come with two books.
Our target audience is children ages 0-12. We have four box types which you select from when you sign up.
- Board Books/Touch Books (Ages 0-2)
- Picture Books (Ages 3-6)
- Early Level Readers (Ages 6-8)
- Intermediated to Advanced Level Readers (Ages 9-12)
No matter what book box you select the questionnaire you fill out after you sign up help us tailor and select the type of book that is most appropriate for your child.

All subscriptions are billed immediately. Subscription members are billed the same day they signed up in subsequent months according to their subscription frequency. For example: Joe signed up on the second of February and has a monthly subscription. He will be charged the second of March and every second of the month thereafter.
All subscriptions are shipped around the 15th of the month via USPS. Boxes arrive at their destination near the end of the month. An email with a tracking number will be emailed to you when your box is shipped.
Subscriptions renew on the first of the month. This means that subscriptions which begin after the 2nd day of the month will have their first Becko Box shipped on the 15th of the following month. For example: If Sonia signs up on the 28th or April, she will have her first box shipped on May 15th but if she waits to sign up until May 5th (after the first of May), her first box will ship on June 15th.
Yes you can! You have the option to pause your subscription for up to two months. After two months your subscription will resume automatically.
To pause your subscription, login into your account area and select My Subscription > Manage > Subscription Settings.
We'd hate to see you go, but if you must no problem. Cancel anytime. Log in to your account area and select My Subscriptions > Manage > Subscriptions Settings.

Yes. 6-month and 12-month subscriptions are eligible for partial refunds (for the remaining unshipped Becko Boxes) as long as the request for a refund occurs within 15 days of receipt of the first month's Becko Box. For refunds on 6- or 12-month subscriptions, the refunded amount will be the total subscription price paid minus the price of the initial Becko Box, which will be calculated at the month-to-month rate of $24.99 + shipping. If you'd like to give a Becko Books subscription as a gift you can purchase the subscription of your choice, provide the information of the child you'll be gifting the subscription and their address. We will ship the boxes directly to the person who you choose.
If there is a book that you saw in our social media accounts that you'd love to have included in your next Becko Box, you could request it by sending a note to email@example.com. If we sill have the book in our inventory we'd be happy to include it in your next Becko Box.
